Default Re: basjoo edges turn black

I have a few species I started from seed that did the same things this season.
I have some extremely dry heat periods which I struggle through here in zone 9B California. I have to water every day especially my potted plants.
I first noticed the issue with my Ensete Superbum plants when I had them in 80% shade. Once I moved them out to 50% sun the problem went away.
I don't know whether the sun helped of if it was something else but it worked none the less.
Here is a picture of one Superbum that started from seed this spring....I can't believe how fast it grew. It is about 3 feet taller now with 10 more leaves!!
