Island Cassie, I just posted a picture of one of our venomous locals here in Florida. It is a pygmy Rattlesnake. It's the second one I've found on my bike route! I did not kill my venomous friend but did relocate it.

Hey...Caloosamusa, good job in giving the
Sistrurus a second chance. Nice pix too. I have kept this species before during my reptile trading days. Venomous, but well behaved guy! I like them because of their size which is very manageable and they feed very well in captivity too.
