I grow and sell this variety. I have several large ones in the greenhouse right now that are fruiting. My original Velutina was the first banana plant to bear fruit for me. That was many many years ago and I can still remember how excited I was. Those for sale are the descendants from that original plant. I think I just made myself feel old, lol.
