Dan & Tara - You are absolutely right. The 24 hour timers can not turn on and off as many times per day as you need, nor can they run for as short a time, just a few seconds each time. You do, however, need a 24 hr. timer to turn the short cycle timer on at daylight, and off at dusk, as you don't want to mist at night. In our situation, we are connected to the New York City water supply, and that is 80 lbs. of pressure, so we have no need for a pump, just need to turn the mist nozzles on and off.
