I have purchased bananas with the same label at both "Trader Joes" and "Vons" markets in San Diego, CA. They are only available for a few weeks. The ones from Vons were not good -- probably picked under-ripe. The Trader Joes were better but still poor taste compared to those grown in local backyards.
