Default Re: Musella Lasiocarpa Seeds

I started some Musa Lasiocarpa seeds last winter (February) and just soaked them in Smoke Seed Primer for 24 hrs and planted them in Pro Mix BX with a reptile heater under them 24/7 & saran wrap on top of the pan. I got sprouts in about 3 weeks. This was my first time with Musa seeds.

I have Musa Lasiocarpa, Veluntina, and Darjeeling Giant Musa that I didn't manage to kill off. I started 40 seeds, 4 kinds, 10 seeds each and about 35 sprouted but I killed several due to inexperience and impatience. I'm ready to try again this winter. I hope it wasn't just beginners luck.
