Default Re: Will Cali Gold pup Survive?

BTW Gina I separated a Cal Gold pup a week ago and it's huge over 21/2 feet in height and had at least 5 true leaves over a foot long. maybe 10 times bigger than you have so I was so confident that it will have a bunch of roots. So I dug around the pup taking care of not breaking many roots around. So when I finally cut the umbilical cord and carefully lift the pup from the ground, NOT a single root was attached to the pup. It was as clean as your pup.
I cut many pups from its moms before and each one of them were full of roots irregardless of height. But this CG is very unique.
I will be very careful next time when l do this again.
It is an eye opener.
But what I did was cut all the leaves including the sword leaf and planted it anyway .It has sprouted about 2 inches now and I think it is going to be alright.
