I am not sure how long it will take from seed but the vines can be purchased at a very reasonable price and they grow quite fast. Some species grow like weeds! I ordered about 15 species from this supplier
Grassy Knoll Exotic Plants grassy knoll exotics. They all arived in very good shape and promptly. I killed about half of them, but that's because I am not the greatest horticulturist! The quality of the plants I received was great and the Lady that runs the website was very helpful. All of the plants flowered with the 1st 6 month and some already had them when they arrived.
