Actually, this area gets full sun for most of the day. I took this picture in the late afternoon. This is just a little covey-hole in my garden. I use these bananas for partial shading for various cold hard palm seedlings. In this picture you can see my "Dwarf" Brazilian, Dwarf Orinoco, Musa Basjoo and Musa Zebrina. I have another seven(7) or so species of bananas scattered around in different quantities. I'm into Bananas, Aroid, Cannas, Gingers, Palms and Cycads. Heck, pretty much anything tropical looking.
