Default June 'Florida Gardening' article?

Did anyone else see the article on getting Bananas to fruit in areas with Frost? It's too late to try the method which makes it a Biennial crop this yr but I'd like to here any comments by those that read the article. Basically, the 1st yr you grow the pups, dig and shelter overwinter, then replant with only one growing point and vigorously remove any sprouts. The fertilizing and watering are standard for our Thirsty and Hungry Masters;>!
Cheers,
Pat
