Wow Randy, what a difference one zone can make! Your zone 7 is much more 'nana friendly than zone 6. I also have a Maurelli and it survived in the basement with hardly any care last winter. It got very little light and water and continued to grow. I also have a four foot Raja Puri that did very well under those conditions.
