Glad to hear about the heliconia. If the Scheideana doens't grow, I've got plenty more. A pseudostem in my second mat of California Gold has flowered. The first one choked and I had to cut it down. I swear, I walked out one day I saw a big leaf, and then two days later and a bloom hanging down. Remarkable.
