Default Re: Going Bananas in Scotland

Thatís the bananas gone to bed for the winter.... Iím very nervous as Iíve never dug them up before, previous years theyíve been in pots so no damage to the roots. Tried to get as much soil as I could to retain the pups but they weighed a tonne and wouldnít fit into the black sacks!!

Does anyone know how long I can keep the musaís in the garage for like this? The garage stays pretty cool/warm as itís where my boiler is located. At a minimum it looks like theyíll be in here for 5 months. I can usually get away with bringing them out in April as the frosts we get usually arenít harsh enough to cause problems to the pseudo.
