Smile Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?

This was revealed under 10 inches of snow on the north side of a structure.
Ground is frozen..

Snowdrops....first up...
I also have Hellebores and a few other early showoffs.
Woodland plants will always bloom first......For the hungry pollinators.
Here is a link to something I belong to....anyone may join and I encourage forum members to check it out.

Now is the time to split your dormant perennials.
Every plant in your garden is ready to divide.
Follow transplant guidelines and best practices for your area.

Your plants will awaken in their new home with vigor and not a clue they were split.
I have a tub of sleeping hosta which are looking for a new home in the Jungle.
I will dig an amended hole and plop them in.

Fertilize your basjoo (16-16-16-) or with what you can afford before they push.....in 90 days they will thank you.
