Default Yellowing leaves but pups are fine

Hello all.

I have a dwarf Cavendish in a 22" pot. It was doing really good up until a couple of weeks ago when the leaves really started yellowing and dying. I have done some reading and it seems like i might have an over watering issue. Possibly a nutrient issue, but what is really striking me is the three pups growing off of it don't seem to be showing any signs of yellowing. What do you guys think?
