Yes, definately plant the floaters. When planting palms, they allways tell you to discard floaters because rotting palm-seeds are more or less hollow inside. Forget this rule for musa!
Because of the banana-seeds' "eyes", gas sometimes gets trapped here and gives them buoyancy.
In my experience, these seeds often sink within a few days.
