My FHIA 3 from A and B tropicals did the same thing recently. Mine was alot bigger than your two, and it looked like it wasn't as healthy as ones I have gotten from them in previous years. I peeled back an leaf sheath, and there was some type of micro(light brown) centipede. So I killed the sucker, and barerooted the banana in case there was more. Then the only leaf basically was heathly, then curled up and died, I just thought it might have reacted to a dose of gnatrol I gave all my plants. Now the 12 inch stem turned black at the 6 inch mark, and toppled. It's probably a goner, but the corm is big so who knows.
