JP, actually the bottom banana has been wet since I've gotten it. It's not drying out, that's why I'm concerned about rot. I took the sawdust off cuz a member mentioned it might be too acidic for the banana, plus, it should dry up a bit. I know to not let them dry out but I also know that they are prone to rot when so young.

Oh and I got them from A&B Tropicals. They did look good when they came. Thanks JP
