It doesn't come back for 2 years! .... Well may not. I have a potted plant that died back in 2018 and it didn't come back in 2019. But !!! I saw a couple of months ago a pup growing in that pot this year. Damn I wish I could remember which variety it was. I think it might be one of my VCs.


It only takes a very small piece of the corm or a root rhizome for a new pup to grow. I know, I just baby'd another plant thought 2 seasons of growth. It took off this year (3rd yr) and has 4 pups.



So don't throw any roots or corms away if any part of it is white.
