Default Banana ID and help overwintering

Hi, this is a repost since I did not seem to get many responses before. I am new to this whole banana growing in colder climates (I live near NYC (7b)).
I need help ID ing this banana plant and also tips on how to get it tall enough to fruit in NY. IE: how to overwinter it. I have seen several things online and wanted your suggestions on the best way. I have a basement and a unheated garage I can use as well as my plant room which has a grow light.

Thanks.
