That is correct .... but those black spots on the leaves look more like sunburn from the radiant heat through that window/sliding door. They should not be in ANY direct sunlight. .... Filtered light, ok.
Browning starts at the leaf edges when being over-watered. Then the leaf turns yellow, then black. You have black all the way to the mid-rib & the leaf is still green else where (no yellow).... like sunburns.
Anyway, use a long stem moisture meter to check moisture level in the middle & bottom of the pot. Water only if near dry.
