I have been looking at the Kitchen Culture Kit on the web as well and considering purchasing it to see where I could get with it. I actually just purchased it last night, but I bought Plant Genetic Engineering: Volume 6: Improvement of Fruits; Publisher: Research Periodicals & Books Publishing, Pub 2003, which has an entire chapter on Bananas. I'm unsure of the ease of reading, but I have a science background. This is a website that shows several different distributers, I choose to go with Alibris as I could get the book brand new, and when I signed up, before checking out I found a $5 coupon in my e-mail with a coupon code!
