Default Old banana seeds still fertile after year long refrigerator storage??

Hi,

I sent two days ago the first banana seeds for my banana garden project to Brazil to the dad of my guest daughter, he is keeping my house and my yard in Lucianópolis. He also has experiences to grow plants from seed.

I sent seeds from Musa ingens, sikkimensis, velutina and Helen's Hybrid to Brazil

The seeds were stored for years in my refrigerator at 3° to 4°C or approx. 40°F. Do they have chance to germinate in Brazil and to be outplanted in my yard in Brazil?

If they don't germinate in Brazil, then I will try to get seeds from ingens, xishuangbannaensis and itinerans. Who still offers seeds from these and will also ship them to Brazil?

Best wishes
