Trunk is roughly 8-10 inches in diameter
If it helps at all, leaves had red markings when it was first planted. The only other variety I've had that with is Goldfinger. Also, it's always been pushing out a few sword suckers, even when it was under 2 Ft. Here's an older pic of it being first planted:
