Pinwheel First time banana grower in South Florida

Hi all,

Found this site when searching for information about growing bananas and decided to join. We planted bananas for the first time ever and I'm learning as I go. We have an "ice cream banana" that is about 70 days into fruiting. Just trying to learn more about it and what to look for when it's time to harvest - wouldn't want the iguanas to get them first!! Our location is south Florida, Zone 10b.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all.
