I think that it may have briefly experienced low temperatures a little while ago, and then, briefly went into dormancy. If I remember correctly, Gabe said that the SDC group has a tendency to "re-pup" itself after exposure to temperatures below 45 degeesF. Some of my plants will exhibit the dry blotches on the leaves when they experience brief periods of drought, also.
