Sorry Steve, Missed your message. The pseudostem is only about 18 inches... Possibly less. I can measure tomorrow but A typical cinderblock is about 8 inches in width and with the half on the bottom, one full one and then about half another... with some room for space between? I'm guessing about 18".
I just planted them in the spring too... So I was very surprised to get fruit so fast!
And each plant has 2-3 pups! Waiting for one of the others to fruit next :-)
