If they are fungus gnats and you are looking for 100% control, you can't go past a biological pesticide known as Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis, or BT (i) for short.
I have this same problem with my mushroom growing endeavours and kills every last one. There is a similar variety known as BT, but you have to get the BT (i), it's mostly sold as a mosquito control, but very effective on gnats.
