Re: Basjoo's fruiting before frost in 20-30 days
This was my last night pic with the pool taken of them (pool is now closed as of yesterday). You can see the largest in the middle bunch (of 5 bunches) with no new leaves; this made me suspect it was flowering at first. I have only had them 2 years though so I assume every year will be better than the last if you take the time to over-winter them. I will do so.
I will also post updates of the flowers and cut leaves if necessary. I will leave leaves as long as possible though to give the corm the max energy possible.
Growing: Ensete ventricosum 'maurelli', Musa balbisiana 'Thai Black', bordelon, basjoo, Dwarf Cavendish, Dwarf Orinoco, itinerans var. itinerans, lasiocarpa, orinoco (tall), saba, Siam Ruby, sikkimensis 'Red Tiger', TaNee, zebrina, and zebrina var. gran nain.
Seeking: Musa Itinerans var. xishuanbannaensis, French Red Plantain, Peekeli, and Ensete ventricosum.
