Default Help My Dwarf Cavendish Please!

I have had my potted dwarf Cavendish for about a month. It has been thriving and giving a new leaf about once a week. It has been very hot here in south FL, and yesterday I noticed a couple of the lower leaves turning brown. Today, the damage is worse and I also now see spider mites on the leaves. I gave the entire tree a good watering, washed away some of the mites, and put it in a more shady spot. What might have gone wrong - sunburn, not enough water? How can I save my sad tree? Before and after photos:
