Ensete are awesome.
I have a small one.
I treat mine like a tropical plant.
Wait for the roots fill the container somewhat this plant is easy to overwater.

Seems to do well root bound in cooler zones however every garden is different.

Mine is in a container and seems to responds well with store bought water soluble fertilizers and granulars.
I have seen others use triple 19 granular on theirs but theirs were much larger and in the ground.

Treat it like your other bananas and cannas.
I hope yours does well.
