I agree with Ty above. The plant does look like an Orinoco. ... So now let's get a few of the fingers to fatten up.



Get some potassium sulfate (ala: SOP; or Sulfate of potash), dissolve some in water by putting a handful or two in a couple of gals of water. Use this to water the plant weekly. ... The solid sop will settle to the bottom, just keep adding water to dissolve. ... the pot is a bit small for the plant, so I suspect the plant will take up water quickly. Just make sure the soil doesn't become soggy.
