Hello. I live in zone 8, Monroe,LA. I have good luck with these plants, they get really tall. However, I need to rethink what I need to do as the area I had them (which was one row acorss most of my back yard) became really thick. I had to do a lot of thining this winter.
So, I want to know how long a parent plant will live,if you keep cutting the pups off.
My idea now is to broaden my area, so I can replant the pups in front of the parents and still have that thick lush scene.
Thanks for your help,
John
