Now that I can see the photo (??), I have 6 that look just like it. From the wine stains, and closely space small leaves, I believe you have a super dwarf Cavendish; possibly a Truly Tiny. ... Of the eatable type (seedless) bananas, to my knowledge and available references, these super dwarf (less than 6 ft) type bananas are ALL Cavendish types. The Truly Tiny grows to about 3 ft tall and are very hard to fruit. The Big Box stores & garden centers have been selling these for the past year or so.
I don't know what in the ornamental type bananas that may look the same. Please check the color of the pstem and post a picture of pstem; and tell us where you purchased the plant.
