my place is sand, ground water is 9 ft. had water 2 to 3 inches my whole yard. staid wet for 2 days. anyways a lot of mine bent over not so much from broken roots but soggy soil. I tied the worst ones upright and after a week I loosened some ropes. the soil had dried and the plants are doing fine.
