Pisang Ceylon blooms consistently at a pstem height of 7' for me.
It probably depends on the environment. I have just measured my two fruiting plants because of this discussion. Both have fruit bunches at 14' growing.
The Pisang Ceylon mat inland at my horse barn has two plants between 9' and 11' and still no inflorescence
