I agree totally NOT CORRECT. Always be suspicious when variegated $150 plants are listed as short cycle, etc. always hidden agendas when $$ is involved.
I can confirm Veinte Cohol does ripen around 60 days in zone 8b/9. And is a great tasting banana in its own way!
I will know more later this year. I am growing and should have flowers soon from:
Florida
AEAE
Dwarf Nino
Patupi
Tigua
Hua Moa
Cambodian Egg
I will post detailed results with lots of pictures when and if they fill.
Also remember someone can pick a bunch half filled and call it 40 days. When really it had another month to go! Most can be picked a month early and have great eating quality!
Unless you see documentation with pictures it is just words in my opinion!
