These usually have a 'balanced' fertilizer of some type (5-5-5; 8-8-8; 10-10-10; 15-15-15 or 16-16-16). 10-10-10 is the most common while the others are not always available except by special order.

These general balanced fertilizers can be formulated as a general use or Tomato/garden mix with extra calcium, magnesium, and other nutrients. The tomato mix will have much of the same nutrients needed by banana plants and a better choice over the general mix.
