Did you just fertilize by any chance?

Fertilizer burn was the closest I could find in https://www.flickr.com/photos/scotne...7626485893557/

I had a leaf like that twice last year, I thought it was cold damage at the time. It was late in the year and the night temp was starting to dip down a little.
