Those are both awesome flowers! Honestly though, I don't think that the second one is Musa violascens. Did any of the leaves have reddish variegation on them? The flower just doesn't look like the pics I've seen of it, and there are supposed to be two rows of male flowers instead of one like is in the pictture. You can easily make out the two rows of male flowers in the first picture, which the plant in your pictures doesn't have. If I had to guess, I would say that the plant in your pics is M. violacea. Here's a picture of the leaves:

Notice also how the male bracts persist on the rachis in the first picture.
As for the M. sanguinea, I think it is supposed to have a horizontal inflorescence. Whatever that banana is though, it is really nice! Thanks for the pics.
