Check out the Ornamental Bananas gallery and look for a plant named 'Giant Tanna' posted by varig8. It looks a lot like your banana and the names are close. Varig8 has some awesome stuff; check out his photos if you ever get a chance. You've probably already seen them though, since you seem to be a variegation enthusiast as well.
