bought a one gallon pot of solid green monstera at the gh friday for 15.00.( hes rooting varigated and they will be ready in 6 wks!yahoo) i want to propagate it into more plants.the runner roots off the bottom of the vines are between 12-28 inches long. i can take leaf cuttings just like a phili( put it in water and let it root). but i dont want to do it that way. can i run the vine( still attached to the mom)) across a pot and plant the roots in dirt, or should i just go ahead and do stem cuttings and put them in dirt to root. would it be possible to cut the roots only and plant them in a pot, would it root that way? i have read 15 articles and each one says something different.
