Experimenting is the only way to know for sure. I suggest you to try and report you results, better if you can do it in this topic.

Not to discourage you, however i have had fairly good results with cavendish for most part of the winter, but they started to rot just when they where suppose to start growing again. I'm not sure about the reason. A simple explanation may be that rot set in pretty soon but a certain environment may hinder both growth and rot, so you need favorable conditions to show the rot. However if have found this behavior mildly infuriating. Now i grow cavendish indoor, where they do perform exceptionally well.
