Those are great ideas! I can already feel the chill in the air. :-(

I am so upset. I have a critter - probably a gopher - around my banana plants. I try to use "natural" controls whenever I can. I took some large garlic cloves and put them in the critter holes today, hoping to make them go somewhere else. I went outside and about 20 minutes later, the thing had put the cloves outside the holes, and closed them!
