Here's how to turn a banana that normally flowers at about 15' into a "dwarf". Chop it off at 1.5' not long before it is going to flower!

I wasn't aiming for that. I am slowly removing this mat because the plants are too darn tall and lean over my neighbor's driveway. But it is amusing to see how chopping this one worked out.

PS - the bunches on p-stems that aren't chopped are WAY bigger!
