I have always been told and read that Nam Doc Mai is The BEST in flavor. But I have never got to try one. I would still suggest that you grow on, but try to plant it next to a house or fence so that some protection may be offered. Once you have success, please email me a fruit to taste.
a friend of mine from homestead dropped me off some of them yesterday
on his way to Gainesville. Best tasting mango I have ever ate. And as far as winter goes I always put the old school xmas lights and cover with a tarp and never have lost anything that is cold sensitive .and I will email you a sample for sure....lol..................kub
