All right! Another KY person on here with me! I live in TX now but grew up in W. KY, near Paducah. Never heard of Glens Fork, though.

I'm afraid what Chris said is true, probably no fruit for you without a greenhouse. However, if you'd be interested in just growing for the tropical effect or trying out some of the nice ornamental varieties, let me know. I have more ornamental varieties than I do edibles so I could hook you up. I wouldn't mind selling some pups to support my own banana addiction, but I'm certainly not looking to get rich.
