The only bananas that you can really depend on to fruit at a certain time are some wild species , especially those in the subgenera Rhodochlamys which include Musa veltuina, M. laterita and M. ornata. For edibles, as most of the experienced groweers know, its different for every plant and they just kinda fruit whenever they are good and ready more or less, which is often different for each individual plant. So yes, plant a bunch out and one of them is bound to feel like fruiting early.
