Default Re: Compost Mania

I just do all my indoor composting in a large worm bin made from a big tote. Can process all of my families green food wastes (except when i throw an 7' ensete maurelii in there, took 2.5 months to break the whole thing down). Any extras, or yard wastes go into my outdoor pile. I have 2 - 4x4x4' cages that are open on one end to it is easy to turn the pile by just throwing it into the other cage that is not in use. This size and aeration allows for quick processing by allowing thermophillic bacteria to thrive.
