If there is still no sign of growth (it's been 11 days since your initial post), you may want to seriously consider cutting back to the bend point. You'll probably want to have a close look at that spot, feel if it's gone soft, then start working your way down. You may be able to cut away the outside layers and be left with a relatively intact interior. Once freed it might shoot up. (but I suspect you may have to cut the whole Pstem all the way down to the bend)
